Do Home Warranties Cover HVAC?

Your family’s air conditioner and furnace are two of the most heavily depended-on appliances in your home. After all, you count on them working efficiently throughout each season to keep your loved ones comfortable, regardless of how cold or hot it may be outside. But when these systems start to get older, it’s no surprise that they face more frequent breakdowns and need a little more TLC to keep them running as well as they once did.

As a homeowner, you’re understandably concerned about managing your family’s finances and trying to prepare for the unexpected. It goes without saying that nobody wants to have to shell out hundreds of dollars to get their broken heating or cooling system fixed every time there’s a problem. Fortunately, there are home warranties that cover these types of repairs, and they certainly come in handy when it comes to protecting your family’s budget.

Heating System Repair

At American Water Resources, we offer an affordable protection program for heating systems in select markets. It’s important to understand that most standard homeowners’ insurance policies typically don’t cover repairs to heating and cooling systems. This is why it’s crucial to enroll in a warranty that will cover any required repairs to these vital appliances — so you’ve got coverage when you need it.

With our Heating System Repair program, for a low monthly fee you’re covered if a problem occurs with your furnace’s blower assembly, pressure gauge, heating element, burner, capacitor, circuit board, belt/pulley, spark igniter, gas valve, and other critical components inside your unit.

When you’re enrolled in the program and a covered problem occurs, simply pick up the phone and give our customer care team a call. They will find a reputable, experienced technician from our service provider network in your area who will be able to diagnose and take care of the problem — without any additional out-of-pocket expenses for you! There are no trip charges or hidden fees. And better yet, it doesn’t matter how old (or new) your furnace is — we’ve got you covered!

Cooling System Repair

Along with protecting your heating system, remember to protect your home’s air conditioner — nobody wants to deal with a broken AC during the dog days of summer. Our Cooling System Repair Program is also available in select markets for an affordable monthly fee.

With our Cooling System Repair Program, you’re covered if a problem occurs with your AC’s capacitor, circuit board, operating relay, motor speed controls, condenser fan motors, blower motor, fuse, hard start kits, and other vital components inside the system. We also cover issues with thermostats!

When you’ve signed up for cooling coverage and a problem occurs with your AC, just give us a call and we will work with you to get a technician from our network to your home at a time that is convenient for your family. The age of your air conditioning system doesn’t matter when it comes to your eligibility to enroll in the program!
