A. AWR keeps life flowing by providing protection from the unexpected. We offer programs to cover the big repairs that your homeowner’s policy typically doesn’t cover. Since the year 2000, we have grown to provide protection for over 1 million homeowners. AWR is a subsidiary of American Water – the largest and most geographically diverse publicly traded water and wastewater company in the U.S. We’re proud of our A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and 90% approval rating from our customer claim satisfaction surveys.

A. It’s a protection plan that covers repairs to your home’s interior water and sewer pipes. Think overflowing toilet, broken water pipe under your sink (or behind the walls), stuff like that – and stuff your homeowners insurance likely doesn’t cover. When you enroll, AWR will manage the repair and cover the cost up to $3,000 (up to $1,500 for internal water pipes and up to $1,500 for internal sewer pipes).

A. Because plumbing emergencies are never convenient and usually costly. With AWR, you’re protected from plumbing bills for covered repairs and the headache of dealing with the repair.

A. Most policies don’t cover repairs to internal water and drain lines for issues caused by normal wear and tear. Those nasty problems are up to you to solve. So solve them in advance and get protection from AWR.

A. Keep it convenient and sign up for monthly billing on your water bill.* Or you can pay monthly or annually with other convenient options like credit card (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover). *Payment options vary by state

A. Just complete this simple enrollment form. Or you can call us at 1-877-513-8520.

A. If you see water where it shouldn’t be – like under the bathroom sink, dripping down the walls, or a spot on the ceiling — you probably have a plumbing issue. Call AWR and we’ll get it taken care of fast.

A. Call 1-855-705-8438 immediately. We’re here 24/7 if you have a repair claim or any other question.

A. We handle a variety of claims, but the most common ones are: · Blockage on laundry drain line · Blockage on toilet drain line · Leaks in water line before the shutoff valve to things like a toilet, sink, or appliance · Leaks in water piping between the main shutoff into the house where the line splits to the various appliances and areas of the home

A. Owners of residential homes (single-family or townhouse) are eligible. If you live in a condo, check with your HOA to see if you’re responsible for your sewer line.

Great for Seniors
I have an old house. My drain in my bathroom vanity was stopped up. American Water Resources was called after I tried to do everything that I could to unblock it. They came fast and 15 minutes later drain was flowing. The guys were very professional.
