A. If you love hot showers or clean laundry, then you need to protect your water heater, because standard homeowner’s insurance typically doesn’t. Normal wear and tear like corrosion and mineral deposit buildup can cause your water heater to fail. And if that happens, you don’t want to be stuck without those daily comforts or an expensive repair or replacement, let alone the hassle of finding a quality contractor.

A. Standard homeowner’s insurance typically doesn’t cover water heater repairs, so it may be up to you to find a contractor and pay for the repair or replacement

A. We protect residential electric, natural gas, and propane fueled water heaters – no matter the age of the unit. Water heaters fueled by oil, solar, or geothermal energy are not eligible. In addition, tankless water heaters, water heaters larger than 50 gallons or intended for use in commercial properties, and combination heating/domestic hot water units are not eligible. Water heaters that are designed to be attached directly to the wall or placed on a platform that is attached to a wall are not eligible for this program. If your home has more than one Water Heater, each Water Heater must be enrolled in a separate program in order to be eligible for a repair or replacement under this program.

A used or refurbished unit isn’t good enough for you, so it’s not good enough for us either. We always use local, insured, independent contractors to make sure the installation job is done right.
