One-on-one support: A representative will personally handle your claim and send you confirmation that it has been received within 24 hours. For covered repairs we’ll send a qualified, local contractor to inspect the issue and we’ll keep you informed throughout the entire process, so you’re never left in the dark.
Professional and local contractors: We know that all you want is to get your home back to normal as soon as possible. We’ll promptly dispatch a professional, local, and licensed independent contractor. After inspecting the site, the contractor will determine next steps and obtain permits if necessary. For your safety, our network contractors always carry an AWR ID badge and will provide advanced notice if there has been a delay.
Repair Warranties: AWR provides a one-year warranty on all covered repairs. And we make sure they’re up to state and local codes and specifications.
Basic Restoration: We’ll get that curb appeal back in no time by covering the cost of basic site restoration including backfilling, mounding, raking, and reseeding of the repair area. Soft landscaping, and shrubbery will be reinstalled (AWR cannot guarantee that reinstalled landscaping or shrubbery will survive). Private walkways, and driveways will be backfilled and covered with an asphalt patch. Public roadways and sidewalks will be restored to the City of Detroit code. Concrete and brick masonry will be restored to a reasonably similar pre-existing condition. If the repair happens in the winter, we’ll come back and reseed in the spring.
Follow Up: We’ll call within 72 hours of your claim to touch base and make sure the process is going smoothly.
